8moe has just one theoretically smol hoers related thread in its /fur/ board, but it got one post last month, and prior to that hadn't had anything posted in it in about three years. I am not sure whether there's even anything in it worth looking at. Because it's a furry board, just about every thread there is at least half loli content. Which is why I don't go to 8moe any more either. I don't want to look at that shit and I don't want to talk to people who do.

I grasp that pedos are everywhere. I avoid content that I dislike. There are places where it becomes impossible to avoid it. I stopped going to 4chan because every thread I'd look at would have people spamming lolis, with all the toddler enthusiasts copying and pasting CUNNY SO EROTIC UOOOOOOOOOOOOH EIGHT IS TOO LATE UOOOOOH YEAH SO SEXY UOOOOOH, etc. In a sane society these people would be getting a visit from the FBI, but that's not within my power. I decided that I don't want to spend time in places where that kind of behavior is normal. I've just about given up on chan-type imageboards altogether.

the topic discussed above scratches what I like to call "Mascots" a sub group of the "Poser"

It sucks that 4chan isn't ever going to have multi-picture uploading and sound on webms that literally any altboard does, because the damage control from the hacking is the sole thing the modcucks are doing now, they're not going to do the QoL improvements together with PHP file rewrite they're currently busy with or whatever it is while I'm busy being a degenerate shitstain on NHNB.

I'm pretty sure 4chan, after the Gamergate wave of infiltration onto the site, exists only as a form of controlled discussion space. Make it so bad that real discussion and interaction is all but impossible, but not so bad that large numbers of people don't overflow and find other greener pastures.

So, where is everyone going for pony posting or are people just waiting for 4chan to come back?

I was gonna say I'm pissed off about 4chan being down but honestly I'm tired of the ride. I might not even bother to come back when the site does. The site has robbed years from my life and the only thing /mlp/ seems to produce is threads about how ACHKSHULLY Equestria SUCKS, and so does your waifu, so does the show, and so does everything the fandom produces. My last positive interaction was donating to Born to Silly and it took over a day of fighting with Gumroad over payment.

I completely understand, I've been on this ride since I was a kid and I can't really imagine my life off of the ride or before it. I sleep with big pony plushies every night, Ponies presence in my life is no different then Electricity, could I live without it? Yes, but am I used to it and would it make life harder? yeah. The community is quite.. terrible, you're right. I don't know what else to do about it
