2.) Moondancer took to Law like a moth to flame. She threw herself into it, worked so hard to catch up, and passed her BAR with flying colors. She hopped right into an intern position with Barrister Jay, a well known Canterlot lawyer. With her tenacity and strong personality, Moondancer jumped up the ranks and was soon hired full time as a leading Lawyer. She's her own self now, and even cut her hair short to give herself a new start.
3.) Takes place after Dimensional Siblings. After Dusk Shine stumbled out of the Crystal Mirror into Twilight's castle, he was bustled off to Canterlot. Here, he was introduced to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, and information was swapped. Unlike Dusk's Equestria, Celestia and Luna were retired here but still controlling Equestria while Twilight slowly learned to take over and adjust. Once everything was settled, Dusk Shine was granted permission to simply wander and explore. The first location that came to mind was the Canterlot Library. It was huge, easy to find, and a good place to start for information. On the steps, he ran into a, slightly, familiar face. A female version of one of his closest friends, Harvest Moon.
Catching her attention, Dusk Shine was instantly thrown off by this mare's unamused expression. The judgement in her purple eyes, it made him stutter and fumble. Perhaps, in this Equestria, Twilight did not know this mare. At least, the way she was glowering at him made him feel like an absolute stranger, like there was no recognition in her memories.
Moondancer, on the other hoof, was trying to figure out if this was a joke or not. If Twilight had turned herself into a stallion, though this stallion looked… different from Twilight. Just slightly, but enough to not be her friend. Was he some crazy fanatic that had dyed his fur to match Twilight? Wouldn't be the first or last time. Her brother, Quibble Pants, had dyed his mane to match Daring Do after all.
4.) Twilight had been shadowing Dusk Shine. Not following directly, sort of wandering after while looking through scrolls with to dos all over them. She was simply curious on Dusk Shine, and also wondering exactly how to get him back home. Maybe they could research the experiment again. And try from her Equestria side. It was a real conundrum. Would this cause a time paradox? Or a universe paradox? Like Starlight had created? Would it mess stuff up?
Twilight looked up from a scroll just in time to catch Dusk Shine hailing Moondancer. Ah! Moondancer! It'd been so long since they'd gotten to talk! Excitedly, the princess trots up to the pair. Moondancer's eyes finally flashed with recognition and relief, smiling even. The conversation is able to flow into a natural one. Moondancer gets the low down on what exactly is happening, and who Dusk Shine. Dusk Shine gets the story about Moondancer, and Twilight gets an update. Honestly, Dusk Shine is sorta smitten with this strong, independent mare the second she smiles. 5.) After meeting, it becomes very clear that Dusk Shine actually lives in his Equestria's version of Canterlot, rather than Ponyville like Twilight does. And the idea of staying in an unfamiliar location while trying to research worries him. Originally, Moondancer just offers to show Dusk Shine around, spend the day with him. Help him get what he needs and the like. By the end of the day, Moondancer had invited Dusk to stay in her Canterlot home with her. It was easier for them both. He could research and be in a familiar place, and she could come home to a not empty house for the first time.. ever. It really helped, and they became very close very quickly. By the time the Mirror was ready on this side, they'd became something close to best friends. They were roommates, confidants, and definitely crushing on each other.
6.) So when it came time for Dusk Shine to leave, to return back to his Equestria, it was… very difficult. Moondancer, usually so stoic and calm broke down into sobs. She didn't want him to leave and they spent longer than planned sharing goodbyes. They went from goodbyes of friends to "please don't leave me"s, and even up to "I think I love you"s… Dusk Shine still had to go back, but he promised to always visit. Besides, Moondancer needed someone from her own multiverse to love.. right?
Yeah, no. Two moons later, Dusk Shine is back with his friends' blessing. He's back, here to sweep Moondancer off her feet. He still visits his home from time to time, and even brings Moondancer with, but they keep their lives very happily settled in her Equestria, our Equestria.
7.) This is Songbird! The daughter of Dusk Shine and Moondancer! She got a bit of a redesign. Went from pale purple with red, purple, and yellow hair to this. I love her so much more this way! She's blind, has been since birth, and is, oddly, a pegasus? Despite both her parents being born unicorns. It's an interesting conundrum.
Name: Songbird Crescent Gender: Cis Female Sexuality: Lesbian Talent: Music, specifically lullabies Occupation: None, sheltered child Other: Wishes to be independent, and to find love like her parents one day. She lives in Canterlot castle with Dusk Shine and Moondancer. Adored by both parents and her periodic nannies.
