expressions a la Gilda Griffon…I drew this back in April I'm gonna slowly try and post old patreon stuff on here I've forgotten to post. i'm literally this comic rn

mostly trying to figure out how to draw her face at all angles, with different expressions, trying to stay consistent…beaked characters can look a little static. I want her beak to look more like a part of her skull instead of some little yellow hershey kiss I slapped on her face. I'm like 50/50 with that I'd say

I have a lot of fun doing these little "expression sheets" in between commissions where I just stick a bunch of sketches of one character on a file and slowly line and color them all. It's kinda relaxing and keeps my hands moving and my brain from eating itself (unlike most people instead of a brain I have a raw chicken suspended in pineapple juice so this can become an issue)

anyway I love Gilda I only love MLP characters that at least 50% of the fandom hates/doesn't care about
