I loved this challenge so much. I got a new tablet and new pen that should help me to be able to draw more, and I got to sit and just work with it all weekend. It was so amazing to see what this new tablet can do, what I can and can't draw, and how it integrates with PhotoShop.

I love the oldest, the newest, and the potential of it all.

For me, My Little Ponies is a constantly renewing, eternally fresh thing. Like "Sarah Mclachlan says in her song; "Wait:

When all we wanted was the dream
to have and to hold that precious little thing
like every generation yields
the new born hope unjaded by their years

I am so excited that My Little Pony is now in its fifth generation, and that we are getting to see what an entire new era of fans, and an entire new generation of technology, can bring to this venerable fandom.

And, I guess, it's time for me to try to keep up. The pencils and paper will always be there — but now I can … well … this — whatever it is, it's new for me, and I can't wait to se what it becomes.
