Hello again, I was thinking we could try and do another Community Collab this year. I know now probably isn't the optimal time to do it, with the Antithology and /mlp/con coming up, but I thought it'd be a good idea to have the collab done for July 7th as (I think) that's when the site first went live — 4 years ago. I plan to do a summertime field background for this one, so you might want to keep that in mind when creating your submission. Don't be afraid to have them in more dynamic poses such as flying, and maybe even swimming because I could try and add a lake or something to the foreground. I did consider changing the rules to allow show characters but frankly I prefer OC only. However, ultimately the rules can change if enough people disagree with them, so please discuss rules in the replies of this thread. Perhaps we could do show characters for a Hearth's Warming collab?
Rules:
Picture cannot contain multiple characters, unless the submission is itself a collaborative picture between multiple artists, in that case there can be one character per artist.
Submission must be of an OC, and not a character from the show.
Submission must be a quadrupedal show species, or near-pony original species.
Submission must be original to the collab, no recycling old work.
Submission must be safe or suggestive, not explicit.
No low effort art but beginner art is allowed (and encouraged!).
No anthro/humanized art.
Submission should have a transparent background, if you are unable to do so, then it must have a blank background with a clean outline around the character.
Submission should be colored, if for some reason you are unable to color your picture, PM me or leave a comment in this thread and we'll see if we can fix it.
You should not post your submission anonymously, as this will make it easier to verify it's legit, and make it easier to give you your badge (if you want it), but I'm not going to adamantly enforce this rule.
Disclaimers:
If you do not add the collab tag, or at least link your submission in this thread, then it obviously won't be included.
If you would like, you may post multiple drawings for the collab under your artist tag, but only one will be selected for the final picture.
Submissions uploaded the day before, or the day of, the deadline may not make it into the final picture.
Art may be also be rejected if: the image has been drawn as to take up an excessive amount of space; the image contains "SFW" fetish material; or the image is contentious political activism.
Submissions suspected to be trolling, shitposts, or spam will not be included.
If you have any questions you are hesitant to ask publicly, or you'd like to check your submission is okay via an external link (i.e. catbox/litterbox), then feel free to PM though my profile page.
