Equine Bats are similar to Breezies in size and in the way to achieve this form. The only way to achieve this form is by magic, and only by the use of a Vampony. Vamponies are only able to turn into this form, and unicorn are able to turn other Vamponies such as Pegasi and Earth Vamponies to this form (with enough magic).

When turned into an Equine Bat, these ponies grow larger ears, as well as a great sense of echo location. The only advantage Equine Bat Earth Vamponies have over their two counterparts is burrowing and climbing. Earth Vamponies have no practice with flying whatsoever, so they resort to climbing or an awkward crawl, unless it is absolutely necessary to fly. These bats are good at using their skilled 'thumb claws' to grip at things, such as bark or rocks when climbing. These claws also make them great diggers, should they need to burrow to escape danger or sleep. These ponies will still reside in trees, but will climb up and down these trees.

All creatures are not without their predators. These predators are hawks, owls, and even snakes, as they mistake them for normal bats.

Regarding manes, they are not as long. The mane on their heads shorten, and the mane on their necks turn in to large or short fluffy patches going down the length of their backs. The tail is shorter to keep from snagging on branches in flight or when they rest.
