Emerald hesitates for barely a second before rushing over and giving her a big hug.

"Aww, you missed me. How embarrassing." Joyride says teasingly.

Emerald just responds by looking up at her with tears in his eyes.

"Come on, I wouldn't leave you hanging. We should probably get out of here. Say bye to your friends."

Emerald turns to Sweet Tea and Praline and sincerely says goodbye.

Praline looks a little sad and gives a soft goodbye.

"Take care of yourself, my little chef!" Sweet Tea says smiling.

They turn to go, and Emerald quickly says, "Thanks for letting me stay here! Sorry about the barn, and Giles…"

"Don't worry about the barn honey we'll… Well it'll be okay. And it's not like Giles is your fault. You couldn't have expected something to attack you guys out in the barn!"

Emerald doesn't say anything to this, and then Joyride and Emerald make their way down the stairs.

Most of the guards are just standing around with blank looks in their eyes, and the way out is uneventful.

"So, off to Whitherwater then? I noticed that little filly eyeing you. Should have went for it, buddy." Joyride says.
