Pushing back through the crowd, Emerald circles around and gets to the other side of the group behind the stallion. He tries his best to get Hope's attention, but all she does is glance for a split second to him while continuing to talk.

Emerald pulls out his amulet from under his dress and waves it towards Hope. It takes a few seconds, but she glances, does a double take, looks confused, has a sudden realization, and then says, "We'll discuss this later, father. I have something I must attend too."

"Very well, my dear." The stallion says in a deep, but kind voice.

Wit the collapse of this conversation the people around the circle begin to fill back in, and it takes a second for Emerald and Hope to reach each other. The conversation is too loud to hear anything so Hope gestures with her head towards the edge of the balcony and Emerald follows, prancing slightly despite himself.

"My goodness Emerald, I didn't recognize you at first!" Hope says, whispering down to the colt when he approaches, "Blue looks nice on you, by the way!"

Emerald blushes and says that he is disguising himself because of the missing posters, and that she should refer to him as Sapphire just in case.

Hope nods and giggles at this.

Emerald reaches into his dress and pulls out the poem and the potion and hands it to Hope, telling her it's a present.

She looks with wonder at the bottle, and then opens the poem and reads it through.

"Oh… Em-… Sapphire, this is beautiful! Thank you. Thank you very much!" She says with a smile, and kisses him on the forehead.

Emerald blushes further and smiles broadly.
