Emerald approaches the minotaur, still a bit unsure of what he wants to say.

Jeez, when the colt stands this close to him he realizes just how much bigger the minotaur is than him.

The minotaur glances down at him, and then back. When Emerald doesn't leave he looks down at him again and says, "Err, can I help you miss?"

Emerald doesn't really know where to start, so he just tries to drum up a conversation. He says he was at the party and he wanted to wander around the maze, and now here he is.

"…And now here you are." The minotaur repeats.

Emerald asks if he could help him out of the maze. He's actually a bit lost, he says.

"My apologies, but I'm actually on duty right now. Can't move from this spot." The minotaur says with a half smile down at Emerald.

Emerald tries to peer around the door, and asks what he is guarding.

"I dunno. Looks like a greenhouse to me, but they pay me to guard, not to wonder what I'm guarding!" The minotaur says with a chuckle.

Emerald comments that they picked a good guard, as he is very strong and muscular. Very manly.

"Thanks, I work out." the minotaur says proudly.

Emerald introduces himself (as Sapphire), and asks for the Minotaur's name.

"Buff. Buff Biceps. Nice to meet you, Sapphire." The minotaur says with a nod.
