Emerald mentions that Joyride was the one to send him.

The shopkeeper stares at him for a second, and then looks down at the list again, and then up at the colt, and then at the door.

"Got the bits?"

Emerald takes Joyride's money bag out and drops it on the counter.

"Meringue! Come here and watch the front!" The shopkeeper suddenly says, swinging his head around and yelling towards a room to his right.

A few seconds later a bubbly looking mare hops out. Her fur is an off-white color, and her mane is a very slight golden brown.

She doesn't say anything, but takes the shopkeeper's place and he motions towards the door behind him.

Emerald expects it to lead to a backroom, but instead finds spiraling stairs heading down into what Emerald can only guess is a basement.

He follows behind the shopkeeper, and at the end of the staircase is another door, which they both pass through.

For a second Emerald thinks he walked into Joyride's own ingredient room, as it looks almost the same as hers. Glass jars on shelves with weird stuff everywhere.

As Emerald looks around the shopkeeper grabs some tongs and lifts an odd looking, slightly round object out of metal container.
