In any case, here are three ambigrams for Ponyville's own Cutie Mark Crusaders. One thing I tried to do was vary the styles of the letters between each name. Most of the time, I admit I make all the strokes the same width. Not that I think that makes an ambigram bad; sometimes I just want to establish the idea straightforwardly, and I think that fits Applejack's little sister.
The four O's in "Scootaloo" posed a riddle, as none of them is opposite another O. But because that meant O-like letters would make up almost all of the ambigram, I got to embrace it and define the style by it. And since that made me think of wheels, I also wanted to include thematic picture elements in these ambigrams. Obviously, that means apples for Apple Bloom (for which the O's were much more cooperative this time) and the double-note and unobtrusive staff for Sweetie Belle, but I'm glad I could get Sweetie Belle's S/e to resemble a treble/bass clef, and I'm quite pleased that Apple Bloom's novel A/m also hints at her bow.
