Emerald gives his head a few experimental shakes and slaps his face a few times, but everything is still the same afterwards. He realizes that he should probably find a safe place to lay low until whatever is pulsing through his system goes away. Perhaps he can find a nice cozy bed around here somewhere.

He follows the spiraling river for a few more years, and ends up at the sea.

Emerald leans against a mountain and looks around. There are mountains everywhere, with green clouds swirling all around him. What an odd sea! Emerald also notices a nice patch of flowers near the spiral he came down.
