"I kind of messed up a spell," said the big creature in Twilight Sparkle's voice. "I didn't know where else to go."
"But why here?" you said in confusion. "I don't mind, of course, and you're always welcome here, but… I don't know anything about magic. How can I help?"
She laughed like you had told a particularly funny joke. "It should only last an hour or so. I just want to wait it out here."
"Oh," you said, relieved that your friend was going to be back to normal, or at least what suffices for 'normal' around here. "By all means."
"I knew I could count on you," she said, plopping her head in your lap, "Us monsters have to stick together, right?"
"…I'm not a monster," you said awkwardly as you reached out and scratched your friend's cheek.
