Emerald sneaks up closer the the trio and hides behind the mast of the ship, listening intently.

"-preparations complete. Poor Daybreak, he'll probably only get a few hours rest before we need him again. Make sure Gale and Vane are ready as well." The captain says to Bo, who salutes and walks off.

The captain's features soften slightly and he says, "And what of the children, Joyride?"

"Well, Emerald seems quite keen on helping, and I'm sure Ruby wouldn't mind doing so as well." Joyride says with a sigh.

"And are you going to let them?" The captain says with a small smirk.

"Of course not. I'll try to get them in the cabin a little before the attack begins and lock them in if I can." Joyride replies with a shrug.
