Emerald asks why the three ships are all going north when there is a possibility that they might have headed through the strait.

"Because they didn't think we'd be stupid enough to head through the strait probably. Most people avoid the Hollowmarsh forest because it's been crawling with undead for a long while now." Joyride says, looking angrily forward.

Emerald asks why the ships might not just turn around and meet us on the other side if we try to go south. They must have scouts too, so they'll probably know where the pirate ship is.

"Because they are a good twelve hours away from us as it is, and the winds going atop the north of the island aren't as fast as the ones going through the strait. They won't be able to catch us." Joyride mumbles.

"What, so are there like, zombie pirates or something?" Ruby interrupts.

"No. I mean they have existed before, but those kind of things are taken care of pretty quickly. I'm not sure what could be in the water, but I have a bad feeling." Joyride remarks, taking another long draught.

Emerald says that they thought they'd be safe after the raid.

"And I thought so too! There is no way that the navy should have responded so quick to the attack. It probably has something to do with the treasure. There are a lot of magical items there, maybe the Whitherwater higher-ups are interested in a piece of them for some reason." Joyride says rubbing her face.

"Is there anything we can do to stop it? Anything we can do to prepare?" Ruby says concerned.

"If I knew what we were up against maybe, but I don't. It'll take about a half a day to get through the whole strait, so we have to hope that nothing happens to us then. Seriously this time though, if we get attacked run to our room and shut yourselves in." Joyride finishes.
