Puffing out his chest, he took a deep breath before proceeding. “I-I was wondering if you’d have tea w-with me, there’s a nice cafe i-in Ponyville I saw..”
Wow, that was sudden, but, it has been a while since I had enjoyed tea at a cafe, not a bad proposal I must say.
“Like a date?” I asked, trying to be clear with what he was implying, with a tiny hint of sarcasm.
“..Yes?” He looks so cute when he’s nervous and jittery like that. I couldn’t help it but let out a laugh and softly headbutted him in the chest, rubbing against the side of his neck. He reminds me of Cal actually… Do I really have a thing for shy males?
Pressed up against his neck, I could feel him take a small gulp before continuing. “S-so is that a yes?” I could easily tell that he was feigning toughness, trying to hold his head high in a professional manner.
I smiled against him. “Mhmm.”
“Great! So I’ll pick you up at noon, then?”
I gave him a nod in confirmation. “Take care, a'ight?”
Backing off slowly, he gave me a nod, proceeded by a courteous bow, before spreading his wings and taking off into the lush pink sunrise. Like a really excited filly on her first day of school, I giddily skipped back into my house, eagerly looking forward to the day ahead.
