"At the time yes, it wasn't uncommon for the living to visit my master in an attempt to learn his craft, but he would put the challengers to the test before he'd teach them anything. As for if he approved… Joyride wanted us to keep it a secret, so I did! My master did find out, but not until long after Joyride had left."
Emerald asks about how she felt when Joyride left.
"Well… It was unavoidable… Mostly everyone was leaving. That was around the time Lord Sepulcher started to dismantle and dismiss his whole army. Joyride said she couldn't stay. Something about not being able to be undead. I didn't quite get it, but I didn't pry…" The lady says, looking a little downcast.
