Bio
The oldest daughter of Applejack and Troubleshoes, Ambrosia is hard to miss in a crowd. Standing over a head taller than the average mare, she finds it a bit difficult navigating most places. Her family still lives on her mother's family farm, Sweet Apple Acres, but in a newer farmhouse modified to take her and her father's immense heights into account. She doesn't actually farm all that much, preferring to work behind the scenes with dealers and the such.
Ambrosia's rather different from her mother, as she cares very highly for her personal appearance, leading her to come off as rather vapid and vain. This can be contributed to the fact that she spent so much time around Rarity while visiting Ivory, and after a time picked up her mannerisms, such as a more delicate version of the family's southern accent. However, just because she prides herself on appearances doesn't mean she's shallow, quite the opposite. She's a thrill seeker and wishes to try new and exciting things, even if said things are dangerous or downright bizarre. And honesty is her policy just like her mother, but she has the nasty habit of being too blunt at times, not taking other ponies' feelings in consideration when critiquing their flaws.
Relationships
Ambrosia considers her cousin Macoun to be the brother she never had, and her best friend. Since they were foals, she would always cart him off to have adventures of some kind or another. His ability to fly due to being a pegasus aids her explorations immensely, and allows her to find new things to improve the family business in places she otherwise couldn't reach. Derecho usually would join along, mostly to spend time with Macoun over Ambrosia, but she still considers him a friend.
Outside of family, Ambrosia spends the most time with Ivory, as she finds she can relate to feeling awkward and out of place with the dragon/pony hybrid. She often collaborates with his sculpture business by providing produce for use in various county fairs and rodeos, as the ponies who frequent such events usually are not interested in gems. She views their relationship as pretty much platonic, though she does think about asking him out from time to time.
Talent
Ambrosia's cutie mark, an apple core with a golden inside, represents her talent for finding the value in seemingly useless things, such as repurposing apple peels for use in everything from tea to art pieces.
