For those that don't know, Kage is in fact a Changeling, he designed a pony form for himself to blend it. He didn't want to be though of as nothing more then a monster, he has thoughts, feelings, hopes, dreams. and he is capable of love. Just because he feeds on it doesn't mean he can't experience it for himself, he actually lost his pony transformation due to the fact that he wasn't feeding on the love of the friends he had made.
The rest of the would sees him as a monster, and that he should be punished.
