Emerald looks over to see Joyride still smiling slightly. He kinda likes that smile. It seems so much friendlier than the ones he's seen before.

Emerald asks to see Pip's book. He still can't believe she got the lich to let her borrow it.

Joyride gives a familiar smirk and pulls it out from beneath her mantle, levitating in mid-air magically.

"Finally! i was wondering how long you were going to keep me under there. Where are we? Wait, that's the forest over there right? Wow, it's gotten a lot bigger since I was on this side of it!" Pip says rambling.

Emerald asks how she got Lord Sepulcher to part with the book.

"That's my little secret." Joyride says teasingly.

"Oh, I know! She- Hey!" Pip says within the book as Joyride quickly shoves the tome back into her mantle.

Ruby gives a chuckle at this, and Emerald puts aside that question for now and asks where they are going.

"Yeah? We heading back to that port town?" Ruby says hopefully.

"Nah, we are heading straight towards the Giant Wasps. We are only making one stop along the way to meet some people."

Emerald asks where it is, and she answers,

"The makeshift support center for Ponycare here in the Zebralands." Joyride says, eyes sparkling as she waits for a reaction from the colt.
