Emerald asks when the temples and stores open in the morning.

"Can't rightly say fer the stores, but the temples are always open in some cuh-pacity." She says smiling as Emerald pays his check, costing him 6 bits.

Emerald and Ruby discuss next what to do, and surprisingly Ruby also agrees that they should go back to the inn.

"I did want to explore, but I'm not in any rush to get stabbed by a crazy dude on the streets." She says.

The pair walk back to the Inn, looking everywhere to make sure no one jumps out of the shadows at them. They arrive, and make there way up stairs.

On the way they spot Joyride at a table. She seems them and gives an acknowledgement via a raised glass and a nod.

"Don't wait up for me!" She says with a laugh and turns back to her game of cards.

When they get upstairs Emerald catapults onto the bed and buries his face into the pillow. After a few seconds he gets under the covers and stares at the ceiling, reflecting on the past few days, particularly his part in the gathering of the royal jelly.

He blushes slightly, and starts to feel a bit antsy.
