The little pony starts toward the stairs. Maybe she can make friends with the shadow ponies. Maybe if she can just find a way to communicate with them they can help her.

As the filly reaches the bottom stair, she looks around the room. She notices what looks like more of these shadowy ponies peeking at her from all around. She’s actually surrounded by them.

While the filly tries to think of something to say, she notices a bunch of commotion from downstairs. It sounds like a bunch of things are being slid across the floor closer to the hole she climbed up through.
