Trixie trotted into the library at twilight castle, she was hesitant when she walked in just wanting to see Starlight. Her ears perked up under her hat as she made her posture tall.
"The Great and Powerful Trixie has arrived!" She proclaimed as she had a beaming smile on her face. Starlight glanced up from her book and giggled.
"And what might my 'Great and Powerful Trixie' be doing here?" Starlight gave a small giggle as she adored her friend in front of her.
"Trixie has a very big event coming up and was wondering if you could help her," the blue mare was trying to sound royal as she trotted around. Almost performing, Starlight knew something was wrong, but played along.
"I would but Twilight has me studying a lot for the friendship lessons. I've been reading some of her letters to Celestial." Starlight gave a grin as she had her hoof on the book. Giving a glance back she notice trixies horn glowing as if she was about to cast something but instead it just glowed. It looked like she didn't know it was just her frustrated nature that made it illuminate her horn. It quickly went away as Trixie spoke.
"T-Then you must pause your study's for Trixie has a very important task for you!" She opened her eyes and gave a quick glance at Starlight, her face turning a light shade of pink then turned away. Noticing this reaction Starlight tilted her head a bit.
"Trixie? What"
"Trixie needs you to accompany her for dinner!" Trixie blurted out over Starlights question, the blue unicorn was completely tensed. Meanwhile Starlight gazed at her in complete and udder shock.
"Do you mean" she began again but Trixie replied before she can finish the question.
"Can you please go on a date with me?" Trixie turned toward her, letting her guard down, even using the first pony point of view. Trixies posture went to a humble state her head tilted down, tail tucked in. Starlight could feel her face growing warm as she walked over to Trixie and lifted her head lightly. Resting her forehead on hers Starlight whispered.
"Starlight would be honored to go on a date with Trixie." They stared into one another's eyes for a bit as they let the fact settle in that tonight was going to be their first date. Trixies smile forming again she broke the connection and trotted away.
"Be at Trixies wagon at Six!"
Starlight giggled and went back to her studying just waiting for six o'clock to roll around.
