Princess Twlight Sparkle and her tiny soon to be princess wife Sunset Shimmer. Who makes a fantastic headrest, by the way.

I absolutely adore the idea of Sunset Shimmer (and Starlight Glimmer) becoming the new rulers of Equestria further (waaaay further) down the line. I also 100% Sunset coming back to Equestria after finally deciding to officially pursue Twilight. (basically this headcanon eventually "fav.me/d9hndw6":fav.me/d9hndw6 )

Sunset and Twilight communicate consistently and eventually daily through the magic book. One day she shows up at Twi's castle unexpectedly after hearing Twi describe how she's becoming more and more Alicorn-esque every day. Afraid that these changes will make Twilight move on to even bigger and better things and forget about Sunset, she stampedes to Twilight's library and confesses her feelings. Spike mumbles something about it being "about time she came through".

Twilight doesn't hear him to chastise him however, because she's too busy practically tackling and embracing Sunset (which knocks the air out of Sunset, because even through Twi is only about the size of Cadence (during the show, at this time Cadence is almost at full power and as big as Celestia, along with Luna), boy Twilight has a lot of strength).

They eventually get married (Sunset has to stretch quite a bit to reach Twi at this point (but she's the perfect height for forehead kisses uwu)) and live happily in Ponyville and eventually have twin girls (possibly more babies in the future, but they're unsure because of both of their busy schedules). Celestia basically takes Sunset back under her wing and she, unbeknownst to Sunset, starts training her to become an Alicorn as well. Twilight, of course, is eager to help Sunset with her studies, however she is unaware of Celestia's plans. (Sunset become's an Alicorn after their babies are born (Sunset thanks Celestia literally because she doesn't know how she would've been able to adjust to wings AND being pregnant).

This picture is Sunset telling Twilight about how she's learning about Celestia's sun magic in greater detail then she could've ever dreamed. This also takes place the night Sunset tells Twilight she wants to have a baby (Twilight gets major excited over both pieces of news, Sunset doesn't know which she was more excited/nervous for).

I'm also experimenting a bit with styles, both in pony designs and overall art design. I don't know if I'll keep doing the lil unicorn hoof floof or not yet.
