박쥐 포니들은 포니 3국에 갈등의 씨앗이 싹트던 시절, 어느 한 쪽에 붙지 않고 이익에 따라 정치관계를 맺었다고 하지. 일견 치사하고 못 믿을 놈처럼 보이지만 사실 이들이야말로 진짜 똑똑한 자들이었어. 결과적으로 세 포니 세력중 하나와 동맹을 맺었다가 최후 전쟁 때 괴멸적인 피해를 입은 다른 토착 종족과 달리 제 세력을 보존할 수 있었으니까. 이런 일이 가능했던 건 거꾸로 매달려서 새로운 시각으로 볼 수 있었기 때문 아닐까?
