Whoops my hand slipped. :/
Jesus I need to stop making AUs…. but I won't. :/ This is an AU was discussing with folks on Tumblr for the Omniship ship (Mane 6 all shipped together) and…. uh… I kinda got carried away.I fell in love with it, perhaps a bit too much, so I decided to go ahead and dish out the Mane 6 and Spike’s designs in this AU to show ya their monster forms and such. I had so much fun with these, oh man, I’m definitely doing a few compositions with them!
Anyway, let’s get into it. For those of you new to this AU, this is essentially a Slife-Of-Life thing revolving around Rarity and her day-to-day life with her…. er, unique roommates as they try to live as normally as possible. Given the circumstances (and that some of these supernatural beings are generally believed to be non-existent/extinct), their normal isn't so normal at all. The primary ship in this AU is Omniship (all of the Mane 6 in a polyamorous relationship).
(big props to @nanashijones for helping me with their descriptions!)
Rarity: The "normal" one. Or, at least the one that isn’t anything other than a regular pony. Also the anchor to the other girls' crazy lives. Business owner of Carousel Boutique, which she built from the main floor of the massive old mansion at the corner of town. Unfortunately, for all Rarity's skill, rent is still too high on the property, and, if she must admit, it’s a bit quiet and lonely in the big old house. So she at fist asks if her reclusive friend Fluttershy might want to stay with her and it sorta… escalates from there.
Twilight Sparkle: Werewolf, or as the ponies call them, a Luquus (roughly means horse-wolf). She was bitten and forcefully turned into what she is now by a rogue Luquus running wild, and while the creature was put down, Twi was left with no one to teach her how to control her new and sometimes frightening (or embarrassing) instincts and urges. With the help of Celestia and Luna, she's learned the bare minimum to keep her transformations and instincts in check, but has struck out in an attempt to search for a cure. As a wolf, she has a secret love for fetch, belly rubs, red meat, and cuddles. Twi shares a good friendship with Bulk Biceps and their shared love for protein shakes and training routine (she's gotta get rid of her extra energy somehow!)
Applejack: Werebear, or as the ponies call them, the Pferdbear (horse bear), and unlike Twi she was born into it. She was once a mountain lass living on her own before eventually moving in with Rarity and the rest of the girls. Of the Supernaturals, she's the most comfortable with her beastly side and isn’t afraid to display her bear-like tendencies. Her monstrous strength, how she scratches her back against trees, her seemingly unending appetite (she LOVES fish, almost as much as she loves apples) her lacking in manners (poor Rarity). Beneath her wise and laid back attitude, however, lays a forest of secrets she's yet to reveal. She eventually takes a fancy to the Apple family before she's eventually just adopted into it as if she was always a part of it.
Pinke Pie: A changeling. And a witch. Yes it's possible, or at least as far as Pinkie's concerned. She was cast out of her hive given her defects (lacking a horn and wings) and was found by the witch Surprise Pie, who came to adopt the little filly into the Pie family. While her adopted sisters followed different interests, Pinkie followed in her Granny Pie's footsteps and became a witch herself. Ironically, despite being the worst at blending in (openly displaying her twitches and intuitive witchy senses, offering potions and herbal cure-alls, and being the helpfullest witch party pony she can be!), Pinkie's the best at blending in given her guise as a silly kooky pony. Which surprisingly works and allows her to be the most obvious about her occupation as a witch. She’s been potion pen-pals with Zecora for years now.
Fluttershy: Half-blooded Succubus, courtesy of her mother's side. Given her physical beauty, Shy’s able to give people whiplashes simply for walking by, but she’d much rather if she didn't get the attention at all. She’s more than content tending to animals big and small and to live her life in peace. Given her half-bloodedness, she’s able to sustain herself with food, but regardless of this perk she still must Feed. During her “hunger pangs”, she unconsciously gives off an aura/pheromones that makes her irresistible to most that encounter her in this state. Each succubus has their own "niche", persay, and Fluttershy’s is often "cute", in which she instills in others the desire to cuddle and coddle and "D'AWWWWW" at her and protect her from anything (this is typically the type of desire she feeds from). She once accidentally fed on an entire crowd of onlookers who kept d'aww-ing over her and a squirrel she was playing with.
Rainbow Dash: A dragon (dragons are thought to be long extinct in this AU) and loud and proud of it. She’s possibly the worst in hiding her true nature from the world given just how showy she is, and because of this she’s been see one too many times. It’s to the point where the remnants of the Dragon Council has put a Stone Geas. If she ever reveals herself and her draconic nature to a non-dragon, she turns to stone until whoever is looking at her goes away (however, the spell is rendered void if Dash is in danger). The only one who's able to lift this Geas for selected individuals is Spike, her cousin by clan virtue. Thankfully, Twilight's given her aid by making her a charm in the form of an earring (like she has Spike) that disguises her as something else. Her guise is the pony we all know and love, which works just as well given she still wants to be a part of the Wonderbolts. However, she must not take the charm off in public, otherwise it'll revert her back to her natural dragon form. The girls have a tip jar for each time Rainbow breaks her charm; it’s more than half full now.
Spike: A dragon, and Rainbow’s cousin by virtue of being from her enclave (all dragons from the same enclave are all "cousins", related or not), Twi's number 1 assistant! When Twilight was young, she tried curing herself by the Moonlit Dragon Egg ritual, which no one believed she could do because dragons didn’t exist, but Twilight’s always been full of surprises. While the ritual didn’t cure her lycanthropy, it brought Spike into the world, Twilight to Celestia’s attention, and brokered a secret treaty with the Gray Mountain Enclave, the enclave of dragons closest to Equestria. Spike grew up between both worlds, learning about ponies and dragons alike — unlike Rainbow, who is fascinated by the equine world in a fangirl kind of way, Spike comfortably exists there under the guise of being an adopted diamond dog pup (originally had a pony disguise but he began to get sore from walking on all four at all times). He follows her and Dash to Ponyville to help with their dreams, and is the only dragon who can lift Dash’s geas for a non-dragon in a ritual that looks like a literal baptism by fire.
I can't argue with that.
