Scarlett Rose is the only child of Trouble Shoes and Cherry Jubilee. She is a relaxed, kind southern belle. Scarlett can charm the socks off of any pony, and she is incredibly flirty. She is rather sociably and friendly, which is why she thrives in the service field. Rose loves her job as a bartender. She meets a variety of fascinating ponies all the time, and everyday is exciting. For a while, Scarlett jumped from place to place all over Equestria. She's worked in bars, restaurants, clubs, and much more. She eventually decided to settle in Ponyville as a great deal of interesting things happen there.
Scarlett grew up in Appleloosa with both her parents, and the empty, quiet place often bored her. She would go out and adventure in the wastelands as a child. She made friends with the Buffalo Tribe and discovered a vast variety of unique ponies and creatures. Scarlett isn't afraid of getting down and dirty, despite her elegant appearance. She would often come home with tons of scratches and dirty caked in her mane. Trouble Shoes would get worried about her being on her own, but Cherry assured him that their daughter could handle herself.

Scarlett Rose and her parents get along well. She finds that she clicks better with her mom, as her father tends to be more shy and awkward. Regardless, she loves them both equally. For a long time, Scarlett helped her mother out on her cherry farm. She also made a brief appearance in Trouble Shoes's rodeo once, performing tricks with her father.
One of Scarlett's favorite bar customers is Granite Rock, Limestone Pie's daughter. The serious military leader gets so flustered around Rose, and Scarlett finds it to be most amusing. She loves to push Granite's buttons and make her blush. Scarlett is considering asking the serious Granite out for a night on the town.
Scarlett had a short fling with Princess Aurora Borealis, and it was a big controversy at the time. The Canterlot elite did not approve of royalty dating a lowly bartender. Neither Scarlett nor Aurora really cared. However, when Aurora stated that she wanted to be more than fun affair, they both decided to break it off since Rose didn't want to commit. They are still good friends today with no hard feelings.
