Another day, another prompt in Equestria Daily's Artist Training Grounds! Today's prompt is Draw a pony modeling / Draw a model pony citizen. I decided to take Calpain's offer with this one and practice a bit of pony fashion, of course using Rarity as the focal point. Hopefully I did her creations some justice in this one. And of course, I had to have fun with the prompt as well. Considering her previous coltfriends have included a boulder and a book, I don't think it too big a stretch for Rarity to do something like this.

I'm trying to work my way towards a personal style I can draw the ponies in, one that's relatively simple but still appealing and easily recognizable as the characters from the show. I'm also noticing in these prompts that I tend to pair the ponies up in specific ways: Twilight & Spike, Applejack & Fluttershy, the two best ponies, and R&R over here. Speaking of which, Rainbow, you know you're one of my favorite characters, and your hair is absolutely beautiful… but it can be a pain to color sometimes.

Now for the bad news: this is probably gonna be my last submission for a little while. I'm going to be travelling out of state to visit family for the next few days, and I don't think I'll have time to make pics for the ATG during that time. I think I'll be back on Thursday, and can hopefully resume then, but I am gonna miss a few days of prompts. See you all then, and looking forward to resuming the ATG!
