RD reminded me of someone I knew for about three years of my youth, someone who was very confident and a fan of races!
Pinkie Pie reminds me of my aunt-through-marriage, she's from Portugal and absolutely bubbly and loves family get-togethers :3
Twilight was a classmate in college that was always the smartest in our classes (we were both studying linguistics and teaching)
Fluttershy is basically just Season 1 Fluttershy x3
