Description:
I initially did this as a traditional piece, inking and coloring Twilight first, and then I messed up on the background. So I took a picture of it and worked on it in Photoshop. I decided to keep some traces of the original drawing (particularly the outline). I ended up preserving the orangey color the paper had and working it into the background sky. If you look closely you can see some of the paper color on Twilight's body as well.
