I spent a long time on this, well, I started back in March, couldn't figure out his hair, gave up, came back a couple months later, did more on the hair, still wasn't happy, stopped again, started AGAIN, did clothes, did hair AGAIN, stopped, looked at a few videos, finished hair. I'm still not sure how I feel about it, as it's anatomically impossible for a pony, but this is a cartoon pony based off a persona of a band member from 2010 so why do I care so much. Because I'm fucking crazy that's why.
Anyway, tons of references ahead, starting with videos, and then moving onto tons and tons of photos and some fanart and merchandise too for good measure.
I have a confession to make, I'm not the biggest fan of Danger Days and the universe it makes. It's not bad, far from it, but it's not super to my taste and I don't understand any of it. (Watch my opinion change in the future) But the album is good, and the personas are cool, and Mikey is my fave so of course I had to ponify this form of him before the other three. I AM GOING TO MAKE THE OTHER THREE, I just don't plan to do them right away, if only because Kobra Kid took me so long. The others shouldn't take as long tho as their hair isn't as crazy. Probably gonna do the others in order of Party Poison, Fun Ghoul, and Jet Star.
I took a few creative liberties with his outfit, I added a clandestine bat to his glove to follow my theme becauseI will always connect him to Pete Wentz shut up I'm not gonna stop adding that to his outfits now. Also I couldn't figure out his necklace, and it seemed plain so I made it into a vial of snake venom. Because. Also the shirt is probably off in some way as it's kind of a pain to get a good look at.
How does he fire the gun? Good question. His wings? His tongue? Magic? I mean there will be one unicorn, maybe he fires everyone's guns idfk don't question it. Maybe the guns are specially designed to react to thoughts or something. He thinks about firing and it works. Yeah, that makes no sense. he can fly, so maybe he carefully uses two hooves, but no one else can fly so that's stupid. I don't think it matters as I'm not gonna start re-enacting the storyline or anything damn.
I really want this jacket IRL, and I can get one! …For almost a hundred bucks on eBay. Some day.
