Notes about the design/character:

-Way back when I was basing my NGs off of past-gen MLP characters, I had a lot of choices for Fluttershy’s kid(s). I was a bit overwhelmed by how many choices there were; besides, I was (and still am) quite fond of the FlutterCord ship. So I created Bedlam from scratch.

-Bedlam’s personality really hasn’t changed at all aside from obviously becoming more developed.

-I had always established that Bedlam would outlive Fluttershy, but it used to be so that Discord would live on as well. I once played around with an idea that he would marry Celestia and they would have a kid that Bedlam didn’t like. But I scrapped that idea once I decided it would be more tragic for Bedlam to lose both parents.

-Bedlam’s first draft didn’t have a cutie mark because I wasn’t sure if hybrids COULD get them, and I honestly couldn’t come up with a definite talent. It came to me after drawing fanart of my OCs with others that Bedlam would be a dimension hopper.

-Bedlam and Burgeon Flare were always shipped with each other and no one else.

-It took me multiple stages of trial and error to make Bedlam not look like a Fluttershy/Discord fusion. The punky haircut did wonders!
