Finally I can show you all what I've been working on for the last weeks!
The end of August 2014 was the time when I got hooked on these colorful little ponies. How this went off is a long story, but after watching my first complete episode I was absolutely 100% in, and those ponies have continued to give me joy ever since.
I wanted to celebrate this in some way, so the idea came up to make some sort of family photo of each of the main ponies, and here we go. There will be one new picture per day over the course of next week, until everypony has got their share!

Rarity's and Sweetie Belle's family takes the start. Of all the Mane 7, their parents are probably the ones we know the least about. I hope this will change before the series concludes, and I hope for some really good stuff… they definitely look as if they could tell some intriguing and fun stories!
I was a bit scared about drawing Hondo Flanks and Cookie Crumbles (you have to love those names ), because there are just a few references in the show, and thus only a few good vector images around as well. So I drew them myself, with all the reference I could get. Turned out better than I imagined though.Background looks a bit generic here, but it is in fact the little pier in front of the parents' house.
