As the chaos of the holidays grows ever stronger, I have a Season 8.5 Holiday Gift here to hopefully help with the stress. Today's comic is another alternate take on the events of the special, starring Rainbow Dash as her good buddy Discord helps her pick out a gift for their mutual friend. Clearly Discord is performing a selfless act with only Rainbow's best interests in mind, said no one ever. Obviously I knew the whole time that Discord was stringing Rainbow along for his own schemes; it was just a matter of figuring out his end goal. The one is the special was really good and enjoyable to watch, but I couldn't help but wonder… how far COULD Discord have trolled the Dash? Steering her away from her first gift choice so he could claim it for himself, perhaps?

Honestly, I can totally relate to Rainbow in this special. I have friends who don't want for much and assure me that they'll be satisfied with any gift I could give them. They are impossible to shop for. It's infuriating.
