Emerald goes to make some breakfast. He doesn't feel like making too much noise since Ruby is sleeping, so he just grabs some cereal and milk.

As he pours himself some Pony-O's he asks the amulet when this all happened, and if that was the demon of magic. He also asks what the Order intend to do with the gem.

No response.

Emerald sighs and looks up because of a noise from the bed. He sees Ruby groggily get up and sit at the table and pour herself some food. Emerald tells her what happened.

"You sure it wasn't a dream?" Ruby says with a yawn. After Emerald says he is sure she says, "Oh… Well… So? We aren't going to try and get that gem are we? Aren't we making a potion or something? Or weren't you doing something with your step parents? You might be over reaching a bit."
