I know far too many DMs who'd leave the door unlocked and pack no less than three different deadly, undetectable, unavoidable magical traps behind it. Transcript:
Rainbow Dash: Nuh-uh! I’m not letting her get away so easily. I’m following her! DM: She’s already broken the line of sight. Rainbow Dash: I look for any obvious paths she might’ve used. DM: Well… Hmm. You fly on ahead and eventually find what appears to be a hut carved out of a tree. The outside is decorated with totems and tribal masks. The door is locked, and looking in the windows reveals that Zecora is not inside. But you can see that her home seems to be stocked full of herbs and potions of all kinds. Rainbow Dash: I break down the door! DM: …You can slam against the door and the windows to your heart’s content, but they are all reinforced. Rainbow Dash: HEY, ROGUE! I NEED YOU TO PICK A LOCK! DM: <sigh>
