Page 547 — The Ravages of Time

I'm sure this has happened to a few people: A player trying to do something dramatic getting tragically undermined by something simple or silly. (If this Story Time is even halfway successful, it's gonna be a rough weekend…)

Last Sunday's session of Fallout is Dragons was a blast. Action, drama, intrigue, romance — it had it all! I try to be dry when I'm dropping links for these things because I don't want to seem pushy, but I'm awfully happy with this one.

Princess Luna: Since my return, I’ve been baffled as to why my sister would allow the people to revel in my darkest moment. But this conversation just now has led to a revelation. I believe that my sister had a hoof in all this. I have witnessed how Nightmare Night catalyzes the fear from so long ago into costumes, amusements, candies, and… fun. Instead of letting fear spread or erasing me from history, my sister took steps to minimize the pain and make Nightmare Moon a more pleasant image. …Does that make sense?
Pinkie Pie: Actually, your legend was an old mares’ tale anyway! Twilight was super annoyed when no one believed her!
