Applejack tilted her head to the side a little. "That's, uh, really good, Pinkie."
"Thanks! Ever since our cousin Pumpkin visited when I was a little filly, I made it my tradition to make all pumpkins look just like the faces she pulled." Grabbing another pumpkin, Pinkie Pie started by carving the mouth into an O shape, complete with a tongue that seemed like the owner was screaming.
"Is't that one going to be scary?" Something was sitting wrong with Applejack. Every moment that passed before Pinkie replied, the features were looking less and less scary and more and more—
"Well, one time I visited her where she works. She makes ponies really happy, and that makes her happy too. She told me I can't surprise her at work anymore, though." The blush Pinkie put on the pumpkin was the tricky bit.
"Ah never thought I'd say this, sugarcube, but an apple is, for the first time ever, the wrong fruit for the job."
A thing that happened. With @DamagedFics Inspired by this weird pic of a seductive pumpkin (well, squash)
