The Dazzlings have returned to their tour bus after another crowd-pleasing performance at the Starswirl Music Festival. Adagio Dazzle and Aria Blaze have decided to head out to check out some of the other bands (namely out of boredom), but Sonata Dusk has already decided to stay behind to rest as she is exhausted from performing all day. After her older sisters leave (and give her a warning not to burn down the bus while they are gone), Sonata removes her sneakers and socks to let her feet breathe a bit, lays down on the small couch in the back of the vehicle, pulls out her phone, and begins browsing the internet. However, after about a minute, she hears a mysterious yet alluring song coming from outside. Drawn to it a little, she gets up and opens the bus doors to hear the voice better. Sure enough, the voice is much clearer outside, but it seems to have an affect on Sonata. The youngest siren-turned-human begins to feel very relaxed and at peace by the beautiful melody, as evidenced by her eyes drooping slightly and a small smile forming on her lips. She also feels extremely drawn to the source of the singing and soon finds herself walking out of the bus and towards the unknown singer, seemingly not caring that she is still in bare feet and that her eyes have turned a hypnotic shade of green. As Sonata continues to walk through the festival grounds in a blissful daze, her mind begins to identify the mysterious singer as her 'mistress'; someone she must be with her forever without any concern as to what Adagio or Aria think about it…

Five minutes later, the mesmerized teen arrives at a large tent at the outskirts of the festival grounds where she finds the person who has been calling her: Crescendo Melody (AKA 'Melody'), a long-forgotten Equestrian siren-turned-human who came to the Human World after the destruction of her home village in Equestria. For years, Melody (who doesn't need to feed off emotion to maintain her hypnotic voice) has been jealous of the Dazzlings' seemingly tight sibling bond and has been plotting to use her powers to take one of the sisters for her own. And after seeing through a hacked security camera that Sonata was all by herself tonight, she finally saw her chance. Walking up to her barefooted & hypnotized victim, Melody gets right down to business and tells Sonata to lay down on a nearby sofa and go to sleep for an hour. When she wakes up, the younger teen will no longer be hypnotized, but she will also have no memory of Adagio & Aria and will believe that she and Melody have always been sisters. Having received her new programming, Sonata obediently walks over to the couch, lies down on her side, closes her eyes, and immediatly falls into a deep, peaceful sleep. Once that is done, Melody takes a seat next to her slumbering victim and gently pulls out her hair elastic, freeing Sonata's hair from it's ponytail and letting it flow freely down her back. Melody then gives a warm smile and wishes her 'new little sister' sweet dreams, saying that they are going to be happy together for all eternity……
