- I mentioned in my last drawing that Princess Twilight is kinda creeped out by her niece. It's because she says stuff like this to her face. She calls Twilight "Auntie," pronounced "awn-tee," which unsettles Twilight for some reason. Family names aren't too common in Equestria, and foals usually refer to their parents by their names. It's becoming more common now though, especially with the next generation of foals. Sometimes they'll use words like "mom," "papa," or "uncle," but they usually grow out of it. Aunts and uncles are referred to by their names too, or something like "Aunt Twilight," but not… "Auntie." Love does this for Twilight and calls Cadence "Mother" very frequently.
- For years leading into her late teens, Love made it very clear that she was the big bad guy of the Crystal Empire story. This is one of those instances where she's flat out telling Twilight that she might end up eliminating her, too. She probably doesn't mean it- after all, she doesn't really have anything against Auntie Twilight. But at the same time, if she ends up destroying her mother, she'll probably have to get rid of Shining Armor, who happens to be Twilight's brother. Love knows all about those pesky elements of harmony, and she's not about to go through all this effort just to have Twilight turn her to stone. She's thought things through.
- She has a medium-level, deep, raspy voice. It's described as calming and hypnotizing.. and obviously, Love is definitely gonna use that information to her benefit.
- Not only is her voice hot, as they say, so is she, and she knows it. She has beautiful coat patterns that are symmetrical along her body, and her hair is always propped up perfectly. She really is effortlessly perfect, at least to outside eyes, and this enrages her sister Flurry Heart, who's a natural klutz.
- Unicorns and alicorns all have different rings around their horns, like zebra's stripes or a human fingerprint. Rings are correlated to intelligence, since the horn is directly connected to the brain. The more rings, the smarter the pony, which is something only measurable in unicorns and alicorns. Love has quite a few rings herself, definitely more than average. Unicorns tend to be drawn to other unicorns based on the number of rings they have, kind of like falling for someone purely for their looks.
- Love changed her act at some point. She stopped saying things out loud that were literal parts of her big plan, so ponies who knew her as a child just remember her as "that oddly morbid kid." She still says things like this, though, just to maintain somewhat of a consistent image. After all, ponies are used to sameness- change isn't something they adapt to very easily. She knows this, and takes it into consideration.
- She'll ensure you that she's not psychotic, and she's right- she isn't. She just thinks a little differently from everyone else.
- Love is asexual. She's never had a partner, not even for fun growing up, but that doesn't mean there haven't been many who've tried to woo her. She doesn't feel the need to pursue a romantic relationship either, another thing Flurry hates her for- she gets all the attention but doesn't even seem to want it. It's infuriating.
- All ponies have fangs, given that they're omnivorous, but some are born with really defined fangs. This is very common in batponies, sometimes pegasi. Very infrequently do defined fangs occur in unicorns and/or earth ponies.
- Love's hair used to be way more vibrant when she was younger. It started to dull as she embraced her morbid thoughts. This isn't exactly greying though, a phenomenon observed in Grey Zoners. Grey Zone happens when ponies start giving up on themselves, and their internal magic starts to fade away. Internal magic is crucial to pony survival- it's basically what allows them to live, and it allows for external magic (spells, flight) to thrive. Once internal magic starts to fade, external magic has nothing to rely on, and it fades too. Internal magic also directly relates to fur/mane color, which is why loss of magic results in loss of color. Still, it's not like Love is giving up on herself. Quite the opposite, actually- this is very rare, perhaps a "cousin" to Grey Zoning, where the darkness is feeding off of her and causing her colors to fade. This has been observed in history only one other time, with Supreme Lord Sombra. He is depicted with a colorful mane before his corruption, which is accurate. Cadence and Shining don't think much of the dulling- as long as she's happy, everything must be fine, right?
