When Twilight Sparkle booked her friends for a luxury cruise on the Lux Deluxe during spring break, she intended it to be a relaxing experience where they didn’t have to worry about anything relating to magic-crazed, power-hungry villains for two entire weeks. However, Rainbow Dash seems to have other ideas and spent most of her first day on the ship searching for any evil magic she can find, but only ends up causing trouble for her friends in the process. Dash’s antics end up causing Pinkie Pie to be banned from the buffet, Fluttershy to be unable to see any animals in the ship’s petting zoo (due to the blue-skinned tomboy scarring them with her wild accusations), and an already-seasick Applejack to lose her lunch over the side of the boat. When Twilight hears about all of the things her friend has done, she is understandably not happy and initially intends to give her a harsh talking-to, but quickly decides that Dash needs to serve a greater punishment for her unruly actions, opting to incorporate a skill she learned in her psychology class at school. After locating Dash while she is hanging out near the lifeboats, Twilight approaches her friend and claims that she wants to try something out on her as part of an ‘experiment’. Dash politely declines, claiming that she is going back to her magic hunt soon, but Twilight ignores the reply as she levitates a gold pocket watch with her geode powers, which she then starts to swing in front of Dash’s eyes. The young athlete is naturally confused by this and asks what Twilight is doing, but the purple-skinned bookworm once again ignores her friend and instead starts to guide her into a hypnotic trance. Realizing what her friend is doing, Dash tries to tell Twilight to stop, but the more she focuses on the pocket watch, the more blank and empty her mind becomes. Eventually, the blue-skinned tomboy can’t help but completely loose her mind to the hypnosis, allowing her to become open and obedient to Twilight’s commands….

Seeing that she has successfully placed her friend under her control, Twilight tells the hypnotized Dash that she will act as her personal, obedient servant for the rest of spring break as punishment for nearly wrecking the cruise for her friends. Once the tomboy agrees to her new position, Twilight lowers the watch and stows it in her pocket before telling her new servant to toss her sandals and cellphone overboard as a test of her obedience. Unsurprisingly, Dash (due to her hypnotic reprogramming) actually does remove her sandals and throws them over the side of the boat before doing the same with her cellphone. Once that is done, Twilight begins to lead the now-barefooted tomboy down to the pool for her next set of instructions, all the while taking pride in the fact that (with Dash staying as her hypnotized servant), her other friends can just kick back and enjoy their vacation. After all, it’s not like there’s actually evil magic that’s about to surface during the trip, right?……
