MEH standard derping around as usual + updated workflow + newer pony style + random pose reference I had laying around + practice background very much based on the tutorial by the super awesome artist TsaoShin. These colors man!
I never really do layered background details with heavy blurring like this — so that bit was pretty cool for a change. The depth is really neat. I will add that to my portfolio of skills I can make use of. Thanks a bunch for such a great thing to share!

Could have worked more on this, but I think it will stand as a decent middle of the road practice piece to look at as I plan something even more involved for next drawing that will be even better. I may not upload every single thing I create from here on. Because I feel like these experiments and practice images that I do to evolve my arts need to settle for a bit instead of being published as soon as new features are tested and evaluated. I think that will be my new strategy to keep you all from not seeing the derpiest looking creatures.

Next time I upload something here — may take quite some time before that, it is hopefully going to be a lot more polished and trying to untangle a few quirks that I need to deal with. With experience comes better results.
Keep in mind, I just changed my entire workflow I have had for almost two years to be able to evolve further and add more visual complexity. So things are not matured and tested fully yet in any regard.
