Try learning about something practical, read Status Effects 101.
You put The Lusty Changeling Maid back on the shelf, and take Status Effects 101 instead. The book reads:
"There are two types of status effects: temporary and continuous. Temporary status effects end naturally after a set amount of time, whereas continuous status effects only end once remedied.
Common examples of temporary status effects include minor injuries (cripple, weakness), confusion, daze, chill, blindness, and fear.
Common examples of continuous status effects include major injuries (immobilize, agony), poison, paralysis, burning, freezing, and curses.
Status effects can generally be remedied using medicine or magic. The more powerful a status effect is, the more difficult it may be to remedy."
The clock on the wall indicates six o'clock.
