Life for a patrol cop is pretty rough in a town that is routinely beset by magical menaces and rampaging monsters that even the local Elements of Harmony have trouble wrangling. Iris Ironhide learned the hard way it's a bit difficult placing a sentient mass of (sm)ooze under arrest as it literally dashed between her legs, thoroughly sliming half her uniform (not to mention flooding her boots). With the element of stealth out of the question due to her recently broken-in boots being filled to the brim, she relies on a tactic of last resort. Even if it will do little to stop the slimy menace, it will at least draw attention away from Twilight's books, though at the cost of Iris' uniform!
