(Corrupted Twilight watches herself in a crystal mirror and realizes what has become of her. She sees her former self trapped on the inside. Twilight observes the black crystals forming over her body.)

I thought I could complete the test, but now I have lost the quest,
-To overcome King Sombra’s tricks/ but I wasn’t prepared for this….

(A deep chilling laughter interrupts Twilights thoughts. Instrumental ballad)

We shall let the Royals fall/ and make them feel like fools
For their nightmares will come true….

Twilight: Ever since I was young/ when I saw the rising sun,
