This a headcanon of mine of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza’s non-blood-related family, her fathers.

Atlas Coast

Royal Commander of the crystal guard and personal bodyguard to princess Cadence. He’s not a native crystal pony as he comes from a small fishing family. A
very charismatic, humble, and very family-oriented stallion who works hard for his people during work and off work. His whole life his old father taught him to
work for what you want and to not get comfortable with what ponies give you for free. Hence he finds odd not doing something that is not consider work. As a
bodyguard he was not accustomed to it at all, standing around and fallowing the princess all day and playing tea parties, and dressing up was not what he signed
in for but he slowly learned to love it. He tends to be unintentionally smooth at giving compliments, but cannot handle them when directed at him as he brushes it
off. After a few weeks of taking care of the princess, he grew attached and was more relaxed around her when in private.

Princess Mi Amore Cadenza

The adopted niece of Princess Celestia. Born from the rulers of the crystal empire who were both pegasuses disappear only four years after her birth. Left hear-broken
she didn’t leave her room until Celestia assigned her her mentor and bodyguard. While she only met her mentor a few times a week for her studies Atlas was full time.
She slowly opens up to him as he tried to get her to smile. No sooner after a few months, she became attached to him, playing learning to be kind to the people she would
later rule and understanding empathy. Meanwhile, her mentor taught her patience and being powerful with her words. Later on, she noticed how both Atlas and her mentor
tend to clash in on what’s best for her yet tend to find them having quality time together. As she grew older she considers them her fathers in private.

Mythical Stream

The royal tutor of the princess. He’s a law-abiding type of pony but doesn’t take shit from anyone who tries to belittle things he seems worthwhile. He’s sarcastic and can be
pretty brutal with his comments. He tends to overwork himself until dropping out cold and then complaining about how terrible he treats himself. He’s the only child who
somehow managed to grow up unspoiled, unlike his parents. He and Atlas tended to avoid each other, first introductions where not streams forte. Later on, as they got closer
to the princess as she grew older he noticed the strong tie he developed with both of them.



Well, this was something I randomly thought “ It would be kinda neat for cadence to have two unofficial fathers” and here’s the idea. Little cadence absolutely shipped them
together and planned at least 99% of the many tea parties and get together’s to get them to confess to each other.

They both accepted the fact that she considers them as her fathers. Their relationship together however…their too embarrassed to confess feelings for each other even after
Cadence became an adult. They still act like an old married couple.
