He chuckles and then replies, "Oh no one means you no harm here. They're all just… Obsessed with their own craft. Just like me. Nothin' wrong with that."
Mulberry asks what he would do if he couldn't just move to another town. What if it was the entire world that was destroyed.
"Well I'm part of the entire world, ain't I? I doubt I'd have to worry much about it." The blacksmith grunts.
Mulberry looks around her to see if he has anything she could use to make a barrier like her rope. Unfortunately he doesn't really have anything that would work easily in that regard. He does have small bits of rope, but she'd have to tie a bunch of them together to get any effect out of it. She thinks about asking the blacksmith for some, but McClank already said he had other work. Maybe she should ask some other time.
Mulberry then says that she thinks the mayor might be trying to do something that would stop him from smithing ever again.
"Hrm…" McClank says, resting his hammering arm. "Now that doesn't sound like the Mayor I know."
