Bio:

Growing up, Octavius never had a good relationship with his father. More often than not, he had to protect his little brother from his father's abusive nature. It eventually came to a point where he had to knock him out to save his mother. After that, he never saw him again, locked up in a prison. Later on, the experience would influence his decision to join the army.

After basic, he married his childhood friend, Claudia. Since training, he kept an ear and eye on the developing global situation between the Zebra Empire and Equestria. Soon enough, the sounds of war called forth and he was deployed with his unit, the 22nd Deep Strike Battalion (AKA: The Iron Talons), an all-griffon unit renowned for unconventional tactics.

Over the course of his career, he made a name for himself for his marksmanship skills, eventually reaching the rank of 1st Lieutenant. His skills would be put to the forefront during the Battle of Blood Hoof Ridge, holding off a zebra advance alone until friendly forces drove them back. Due to that, he was given the nickname in their language that translated to "Unseen Hunter". A year later, during another advance into zebra-held town, he was injured close to the end of the fighting, Though they took the town, his injuries earned him an honorable discharge and a ticket home. Not long after, he and Claudia conceived.

Octavius' wartime experiences left a lasting impression on him. He felt the war was only going to get ugly, especially after the introduction of the megaspells. When word got to him and his town of Hoovendale of a Stable being made for them, he wasted no time in reserving a spot. He hoped a peaceful solution would be reached and the world would live on. However, it wasn't to be.

The sirens rang through the sky and the megaspells began to rain down. It was luck that him and Claudia escaped the ensuing devastation and see their son born. Due to his experiences, he was appointed as his Stable's Head of Security. He kept things as safe and orderly as he could. Soon, he began to have nightmares about his time in the war and of the ruined world above. Though wary of it, he knew he'll have to return to the world he once knew.
