This is probably the straightest shot I've ever taken at the classic "Bond villain smugly revealing their schemes to the captive hero" monologue trope. It's surprisingly fun.
Transcript:
Twilight Sparkle: Well, you've… certainly got me in a bit of a predicament. Surely it's safe to tell me your plan, then?
Princess Cadance: And then you'll make your daring escape and warn your friends just in time! How heroic! But maybe I'll tell you anyway. Truth be told, it doesn't matter whether you know or not. The plan is too far along for you to stop it in time. And yet, why rob you of the opportunity to put the pieces together? You're a smart filly. I'm sure you can figure it out.
Twilight Sparkle: Well, you're the one who sent the invasion warning, right? But then why go to all this trouble of impersonating Cadance and going along with getting married to my…? …my brother. His barrier protecting Canterlot.
Princess Cadance: And there it is. That's right, "Twi," your brother was just a means to an end. The *end* of all of Equestria!
Twilight Sparkle: Okay, tricking my brother and threatening my home is one thing… but you're going to pay for that wordplay.
