Here's what the flowers in her hair are and what they mean:
Bluebell — Humility, constancy
White carnation — Innocence
Coriander — Hidden worth/merit
Daisy — Innocence, hope

I based Fluttershy off the Shetland Pony. Shetland ponies are a breed of horse popular as a child's pet and mount. Her colours are based off the eastern yellow robin, and her scarf is based loosely off her skirt from EQG. I kept Flutterbat in her wings, eyes, and fang too.
